Day 7: January 12, 2025

God Builds His Church

Devotional:

Our final day reminds us of the most profound truth: Church growth isn't about human strategies or impressive programs, but about God's sovereign work. He is the master builder, using His word, His people, and our worship as construction materials.

We are not alone in this journey. We are part of something far larger than our individual experiences - a global, eternal community being built by God Himself. Our role is not to manufacture success but to be yielded, obedient vessels through whom He can work.

Reflect on the beautiful mystery of being part of God's church - not an institution, but a living, dynamic body with Christ as the head.

Scripture:

Ephesians 2:19-22 - "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone..."

Prayer:

Father, thank you for choosing to work through imperfect people like us. Build your church. Use me as you see fit. May my life be a living stone in the spiritual house you are constructing.

Call to Action:

Spend time in prayer for your local church and the global church. Make a list of ways you can contribute to building up the body of Christ - through prayer, service, encouragement, or specific ministry involvement. Commit to one tangible action in the coming month.
